I've just found this video on the WAMDA website of Tony Bury talking about the power of mentoring for entrepreneurs after his hugely successful session that encouraged participants at the COE 2010 to give it a go. He makes some very valuable points, not least, that mentoring takes place in many different ways and it need not always be formal.
