Jordanian Animation Studio to TV Stations: Give Startups a Chance [Wamda TV]
Fadi Barghouti of Curlstone Studios, a Jordanian company incubated by Oasis500, chatted with Wamda at the World Economic Forum about their goals to address the lack of Arabic content and create narratives that come from inside the region as opposed to being imported. Barghouti discusses why he's primarily developing content for television, and what the challenges are for a small studio when trying to sell animated content to TV stations. He calls for large media companies to give startups a chance, and discusses how Oasis500 helped him learn how to put his ideas and skills in perspective.
