Sarbast from Iraq explains how the mobile application he pitched at the Global Innovation through Science and Technology (GIST) competition, can control home appliances by turning them on and off. This application works wirelessly whether you are inside the house, from a central device or even while outside of the house. All it needs is a decent internet connection and a smartphone, and you can manipulate it from anywhere.
