In this segment, Akkad and Sarkis discuss the challenges of reaching consumers with television-based productions. They reveal some numbers regarding the low payoff of such shows today, explaining that digital and online series are the trend of the future.

Sarkis explains that online series have a much longer life because they can be viewed and reviewed for months, while a airing a TV show only lasts for that one segment.

Akkad mentions a few challenges to online series today, with an emphasis on the difficulty of monetization. He also discusses how Google is rethinking video monetization through YouTube, and some potential changes in the near future.
