Egypt's Neatly Helps Twitter Users Find the News They Like [Wamda TV]
Web and mobile app Neatly has launched to help users filter and categorize tweets, to solve the ubiquitous problem of sifting Twitter's torrential stream to find your favorite news. In production for over a year, it's the first product to be launched by F16Apps, an Egyptian mobile app development startup that graduated in the first cycle at Flat6Labs.
In a quick chat with CEO Ahmed Issam and Head of Marketing Mostapha Majed, we discussed the different functionalities of the application that is currently available for iPhones, iPads and Nokia platforms, and soon for Android. Issam discusses what differentiates the application from competitors like Tweetdeck, explaining that "Neatly categorizes users' favorite social topics, and groups tweets around one subject in a list, according to both hashtags and keywords."
