Startup Weekend makes its way to Sana’a, Yemen for the first time on May 29-31, 2013.
SW Sana’a will follow the basic Startup Weekend model, anyone can pitch their idea, receive feedback, and vote on others' ideas. Teams form around the top startup ideas and delve into a 54-hour long frenzy involving coding, designing, business model creation, and market validation. The teams then present their refined ideas in front of local key figures of entrepreneurship.
