Hivos, in collaboration with Innoventures, is organizing a competition for Egyptian startups in the creative industry, entitled Disrupt!/Design!/, on November 21-23, 2013. The event will take place at The District Cairo and is open to entrepreneurs in the music, digital media, or graphic design fields.

Disrupt!/Design!/ seeks to help entrepreneurs:

• develop and launch a business model for their project;
• meet and get feedback from industry experts;
• network and interact with other entrepreneurs in the design scene;
• pitch their ideas to investors;
• and compete for the chance to win EUR 2,000 among other prizes.
