GE Geeks Go for Gold Challenge

Register

During this year's Rio 2016 Olympic Games, GE machines are tweeting in their native tongue - binary code – about their experiences at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. This is part of a unique global social media campaign designed to demonstrate the power of the Industrial Internet.

Now the campaign gets interesting, particularly for the world’s best coders, data scientists and software engineers.

The Geeks for Gold challenge and campaign hub, cc9900.io.

Hidden in the GE machine’s Twitter conversations is a coding challenge aimed squarely at the world’s best geeks. Anyone that thinks they have what it takes can register for the challenge and get cracking.

Make sure to follow the conversations via the campaign hashtag, #cc9900 (Hexadecimal binary for gold), and follow and retweet General Electric machines on Twitter: GE_LED1 | GE_BULB | GE_UPS | GE_UPS1 | GE_ENG1 | GE_ENG2 | GE_LED2 | GE_GLOBE | GE_MRI | GE_XRAY.

The first to the finish line, successfully decoding the challenge will win gold, $10,000, and a trip to GE’s Minds + Machines conference in San Francisco in November.
