The Middle Eastern Tech Entrepreneurs (METE) are hosting a meetup, offering a discussion of emerging tech startups in the Middle East where METE members can also pitch their business and receive feedback. The event will take place in New York on May 15, 2013.
Each pitch gets 5 minutes:
- 1st minute: describe the problem and your solution to that problem.
- 2nd minute: how do you plan to monetize?
- 3rd minute: who do you wish to meet, partner with or connect with to make it happen?
- 2 minutes one-way feedback (You won't reply, but rather sit back and listen to critiques).
After pitches, the event will conclude with the Entrepreneur pick of the day and networking.
The meetup is open to everyone interested in learning about the Middle Eastern tech movement in its earliest stage, or those interested in introducing a new startup to the region.
Attendance is $10 and members can bring one guest for free. To learn more about the event or to register, check out the METE website here.
