Around 60 entrepreneurs gathered for workshops and lectures focusing on investors pitches, finances and business plans.
"We want to train the young Palestinian entrepreners here on how to prepare their pitches for potential seed investment from Oasis500," says John Ross, Digital Economy Director at Mercy Corps West Bank and Gaza, and one of the main organizers of the bootcamp.
One of the attending entrepreneurs is Halema Abdazez, who said that she learned a lot from the training, specifically about how to build a business model and how to take care of her financials. "I learned how to organize and develop my ideas and look further than Palestine, taking a more regional vision," she says.
Mahmoud Tafesh was overwhelmed to meet the experts. "I had great conversation on how to avoid failure," he says.
Zahra AlFayomi also mentions a good lesson she learned about failure. "Don't give up if you fail once," Alfayomi says.
