Bahrain’s second MENA Angel Investors Summit 2015 will take place on May 11th to bolster the investment ecosystem and endorse Bahrain as the entrepreneurial hub for the MENA region. Hosted by Bahraini Business Angels Company “Tenmou”, the summit will take place at the Four Seasons Hotel.
This event is the first Business Angels initiative in the country, in partnership with the Economic Development Board of Bahrain, created to give investors the opportunity to develop their portfolios and entrepreneurs the opportunity to learn the best startup practices.
The event will be a full-day event, starting at 9:00 am sharp. More than 200 and 45 startups will be participating this year from the following countries: Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, Egypt, and Jordan.
Host company “Tenmou” invests up to 20,000 Bahraini dinars ($ 53,000) in exchange for a 20% stake in every startup that meets the criteria. A supervision period of three months is also provided to include supporting services for entrepreneurs without charge.
