The Internet of Things World Forum (IoTWF), held for the second consecutive year at the Dubai World Trade Center, will feature its 2015 IoT hackathon on December 4 - 5, at the Cisco offices in Dubai. A mix between a learning session and a coding competition, the hackathon will train participants on Cisco Technologies. This will entail a DMO API which provides data management and first-order analysis at the edge, CMX and CIC SDK to improve mobility experience, IoT solutions for enterprises and collaboration tools.
A virtual pre-hackathon training session will take place on December 1 at 6pm local Dubai time before the hackathon starts. Register here.
The team that developed the best mobile, web or desktop app using these technologies will get a prize of 4000$, 3500$ or 1500 $ (1st, 2nd and 3rd).
