Arab Arcade's next 48-hour Game Jam is taking place on the weekend of May 6-8 at the Beirut Digital District in Beirut, Lebanon. If you’re a gamer, developer, designer, or artist, and want to try to make a new game, this is a great opportunity to try. The Lebanese gaming community, a small but growing local scene, will be present to support participants.
A game jam is a gathering of game developers for the purpose of planning, designing, and creating a new original game within a specific theme and within a short period of time. The theme will be provided at the event.
Anyone can join the event; prior technical experience is not required. Game development is a multidisciplinary field. Any skill is valuable and can be adapted to the game making process. Participants will also have access to mentors and experienced game developers throughout the event.
Prizes and mentors will be announced soon on the event page.
