Launched in February this year, this app reports road accidents and simultaneously alerts relevant emergency services needed in the aftermath of the accident. Contacts that a user lists on the app can also be alerted to your incident.

An app-based car reservation service this Dubai startup launched in November 2015. They double their fleet in the second half of 2016 to 85 cars. They now have over 2,200 users in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Coming out of the Qatar Science and Technology Park, this app helps you with your HR and payroll organisation, sharing documents, invoices and CRM etcetera. It was launched in August 2016. Targeting SMEs and startups in the region they have more than 700 users in 12 countries. They hope to open branches in UAE, KSA and Turkey this year.

Established in March 2016, Mind Rockets create assistive technology solutions for the deaf and hard of hearing community. Avatars instantly translate from text and speech, into sign language in both Arabic and American English.

Let us move away from renting cars and apartments, to renting furniture, a dress, or maybe some books. Launched first in India in May 2015, they came to Dubai in November. This marketplace for renting is B2B, B2C and P2P. They are looking to raise funding and expand to other GCC countries.

Tokn digitises processes that we are so accustomed to doing manually. With clients in Dubai, they are also looking to scale to Saudi Arabia. They have developed a military grade 7 inch tablet for industries who need a “rugged device”.

This cloud-based work management platform provides users with a complete and secure online suite of social collaboration, team communication, and management tools. They launched in 2016 and were incubated at Speed@BDD.
