Press release:

Startup ENAKL announces the closing of a $2.3 million Seed funding round, finalised in December 2025, following a first initial round of $1.4 million completed at the end of 2024.

This new funding will enable Enakl to accelerate the deployment of its intelligent shared mobility solutions for companies, public-sector actors, and end users, while preparing the launch of its SaaS offering.

The round brings together three new Moroccan investors: Azur Innovation Fund, Witamax and MFounders, alongside the reinvestment of two existing investors: Catalyst Fund and Digital Africa.

“Enakl addresses a structural challenge in mobility and fleet optimisation, with a technological and operational approach that convinced us of its strong value-creation potential. The team and the quality of execution already demonstrated in a fast-growing market fully align with our early-stage investment thesis," Adnane Filali, Managing Partner, Azur Innovation Fund, commented.

Founded to tackle urban congestion, access to transport, and the decarbonisation of home-to-work commutes, Enakl develops a proprietary technology that enables the design, deployment, and real-time management of flexible, optimised shared transport networks.

After 18 months of R&D, the platform is now fully operational and widely adopted in the field. In 2025, Enakl notably won its first pilot public contract with the Casablanca–Settat Region, marking a key milestone in its expansion with public-sector stakeholders.

“MFounders chose to invest in ENAKL for the quality of its founding team, recognised for its deep expertise in transport in Morocco. Convinced that transport is a key lever for urban and rural development, MFounders is also backing a scalable model designed to expand in Morocco and internationally,” said Ilan Benhaim, Entrepreneur and Investor, MFounders

The funds raised will enable Enakl to strengthen its commercial teams, launch the first version of its SaaS product for operators and large accounts, and test new development models for ridepooling fleets.

Founded in 2022 by Samir Bennani and Charles Pommarède, Enakl’s mission is to design and operate intelligent shared mobility solutions that facilitate access to employment, reduce urban congestion, and accelerate the transition toward more sustainable transport.
