Goodness Cart is a new ecommerce platform that launched today in Dubai to offer customers products across a range of categories including natural and organic fresh produce, beauty, homecare, baby and child products all sourced from both local and international brands.

It has been identified that ecommerce will be a megatrend for businesses in the UAE and is expected to be valued at $10 billion by the end of 2018. Currently the total value of ecommerce in the UAE is estimated at $2.5 billion.

“The UAE is one of the fastest growing ecommerce markets in the world and recent developments show that one emerging segment for e-retail is health and wellbeing. The GCC ecommerce market is set to quadruple and reach $20 billion by 2020 according to global consultancy AT Kearney. The idea behind Goodness Cart is to make wellbeing an accessible, cost-effective, convenient and time-saving solution for everyone whilst going well beyond the one brand solution or fresh produce offering currently available in the Gulf,” said Goodness Cart founder, Geeta Pahlajani.

Goodness Cart’s team will be overseeing the product’s quality before dispatching it to customers. On their blog, they will also feature wellness experts, and a series of guest bloggers, enabling expert commentary direct to the consumer, allowing the Goodness cart shopper to make further educated choices.
