Press release:

Moroccan super app ORA Technologies has extended its Series A funding round to $10 million after securing an additional $2 million from local investors, strengthening its position as one of Morocco's best-funded consumer technology startups.

The company will use the new capital to accelerate the growth of KOUL, its food delivery platform, while expanding ORA Cash, its digital wallet that enables e-commerce and contactless payments across Morocco. The investment will also support the expansion of its last-mile logistics network and cash collection infrastructure.

Founded in 2023 by Omar Alami, ORA Technologies is building an integrated super app that combines food delivery, digital payments and digital commerce services into a single ecosystem designed for Moroccan consumers and merchants.

The company said the entire $10 million Series A has been financed by Moroccan investors, making it one of the country's largest locally funded technology rounds at this stage. The milestone reflects growing confidence among domestic investors in Morocco's technology ecosystem and demonstrates the increasing availability of local growth capital for startups.

Looking ahead, ORA Technologies plans to continue strengthening its presence in Morocco by scaling both KOUL and ORA Cash while capitalising on growing demand for digital payments, e-commerce and food delivery services.
