• Egyptian entrepreneurship platform RiseUp and NVIDIA are bringing together startup founders, developers, industry executives, academics and other technology ecosystem stakeholders for an AI Ecosystem Reception in Cairo, as the two sides expand their collaboration around Egypt's AI ecosystem.
• The reception included NVIDIA senior executives Paolo Guglielmini, Vice President for EMEA, and Marc Domenech, Regional Vice President for the Middle East, Turkey, Africa and Southern Europe, and will focus on opportunities for AI development and collaboration in Egypt.
• The event follows the first NVIDIA SIGNALS session in Egypt in July 2026, organised by RiseUp, A15 and BitRoot at the Grand Egyptian Museum. The session brought more than 120 founders, investors and ecosystem leaders together and connected Egyptian startups with NVIDIA's startup ecosystem.
• RiseUp said the latest gathering represents the next stage of an ongoing collaboration with NVIDIA, with further joint initiatives for the regional AI ecosystem planned in the coming months.

RiseUp is continuing a growing, long-term collaboration aimed at accelerating the region’s AI ecosystem by building on the momentum of the first-ever NVIDIA SIGNALS session held at the Grand Egyptian Museum in July 2026. On Monday, NVIDIA will host an AI Ecosystem Reception in Cairo, bringing together a select group of leaders, innovators, and ecosystem voices who are shaping the next chapter of AI in Egypt.

Hosted with NVIDIA senior leadership, including Paolo Guglielmini, Vice President, EMEA, and Marc Domenech, Regional Vice President for the Middle East, Turkey, Africa and South Europe, the evening will convene leaders from across industry, the startup and developer community, academia, and the broader technology ecosystem for an exchange on the opportunities ahead for AI in the region.

The reception builds directly on the foundation laid in July, when NVIDIA SIGNALS put Egyptian AI founders in front of NVIDIA Inception’s Head of Startups & VC, Basil Fateen. The session  was co-organised by RiseUp, A15, and BitRoot and was framed at the time as the start of a recurring local chapter. NVIDIA Inception is a free program that supports startups globally, providing community, technical resources, opportunities to connect with investors, and more. 

For RiseUp, the reception reinforces its role as the fundamental platform that connects Egypt's innovators with  global technology partners.  This relationship has now been built with NVIDIA across 2 distinct formats in a single year. This marks another step in an expanding collaboration between RiseUp and NVIDIA, with further joint initiatives already in motion for the region’s AI ecosystem in the months ahead.
