On April 18, 2013, AltCity is launching Net2Beirut, the first ever local NetSquared group in Lebanon.

During April, global NetSquared groups are organizing digital storytelling events and AltCity is joining in with one centered on the new 'Completure' app and how it has the potential to change citizen journalism and digital storytelling.

The NetSquared vision "is to make it easy, meaningful, and fun for people and organizations to get the information, visibility and support they need to accelerate the impact of social-benefit projects." Net2Beirut is the local NetSquared group that AltCity is organizing.

AltCity is calling entrepreneurs, designers, developers, or anyone with an eye for social change to meet-up during Net2Beirut events to rub shoulders, pick brains, and simply connect
