The UK Lebanon Tech Hub Accelerator is currently accepting applications for its second 2016 cycle. TechHub has been offering an equity-free program designed to propel the most promising knowledge economy companies into the international marketplace. They have around 45 companies in their portfolio, with big names such as CardioDiagnostics, Bnooki and Born Interactive. The deadline for applications is May 22.
The UK Lebanon Tech Hub’s accelerator is a joint initiative between Banque Du Liban and the UK Government to support the growth of Lebanon's Knowledge Economy. Applications are also open to non-Lebanese entrepreneurs who commit to registering their startup in Lebanon during the acceleration period in Beirut. They also offer a subsidized one-stop-shop solution which provides full support on setting up a business entity in Lebanon.
The accelerator also offers workshops and trainings for non-participants. Startups who are not in the program can register and benefit from the various weekly and monthly events conducted at the space.
