Female entrepreneurs are founding companies at an ever increasing rate across the world and the MENA region is no exception. Increased opportunity and new lending options have drastically improved the resources available to women in the Arab world.
Women-run organizations continue to make up a larger and larger portion of the Arab business world and are expected to play a very substantial role in the region by the year 2020.
Even with all that growth, there’s still a long way to go. Female-led businesses in the Middle East still lag behind the global average of 30 percent and growth is slightly slower than the global rate.
