The Fincluders Startup Challenge is looking for innovative fintech talents and entrepreneurs championing inclusive and fair finance for all.
The challenge will be taking place on May 3-4 in Amman, Jordan.
15 finalists will be selected to travel to Amman to participate in a mentoring day on May 3, where they will receive mentorship from qualified experts in the areas of financial services and technology, and the pitching competition on May 4, where they will pitch in front of an audience of investors, financial institutions, regulators and development finance specialists.
All pitches will be assessed by a high level jury with cash prizes of up to USD 15,000 up for grabs.
Eligible fintech startups must have an innovative solution to an imminent problem in the region, and have a working prototype to demo. Also, the service/solution proposed must be applicable in countries of low-middle income citizens.
Participants can choose to tackle a number of challenges, including financial literacy, payment solutions, consumer protection, and more. A full list of the challenges can be found here.
Deadline for applications is April 7.
