The largest interactive gathering in MENA will be bringing thousands of entrepreneurs, investors and tech and media enthusiasts together with companies from the worlds of technology and entertainment for two days of talks, exhibitions, and more.
This year’s STEP Conference 2017 will be taking place from April 5 - 7 at the Dubai International Marine Club.
Building on last year’s success, this year's edition will feature new additions to the already wide array of activities including the brand new STEP Music festival, which aims to highlight independent musical talents from the region.
In partnership with Anghami, STEP Music will be bringing together leading figures from the music industry, including artists, producers and music executives to explore the latest trends, challenges and the future of the regional music industry. The event will also feature a number of live performances from some of the region’s most promising indie artists.
Additionally, Wamda will be running the ‘Startup Basecamp’, where around 400 regional startups will exhibit their products and services to a crowd of influential stakeholders, investors, industry experts, and fellow entrepreneurs.
If you’re an early stage startup, you could be eligible to receive the following perks: a 1x1 branded booth to exhibit, 2 tickets for the price of 1 (valued at $299), access to all stages and activities, and a spot to enter the pitching competition (only the first 60 startups to apply get their chance to pitch). Scheduled panelists include Wamda Capital’s Fadi Ghandour, "Startup Rising" author Christopher Schroeder, Barjeel Art Foundation founder Sultan Al Qassemi, Careem founder Mudassir Sheikha, and many more.
The conference will also host a number of workshops, one-on-one mentorship sessions, and oia pitching competition.
