Startups are launching faster than we can write about them, so here’s our list of raw newbies to watch.
Giftlivery is a web and mobile application that enables users to find a gift that suits the recipient's lifestyle, using artificial intelligence technology. The startup works with a number of local retailers and delivers gifts to specific locations.
The recently launched app allows users to post an item that needs shipping and offer a commission in exchange. Frequent travelers book the request and users can track where the package is and pick a delivery location that suits both parties.
It is a game development studio that specializes in storytelling games. They are currently working on their first game, Starborn Chronicles.
Mosawer is a platform founded in 2016 to help users find and book photography services online. Photographers and videographers can showcase their work, add their rates and packages, manage their schedules, accept bookings, and receive payments.
This online video learning platform launched in July its beta phase. It aims at providing Arab users with access to regional and international mentors who can teach different topics such as management, technology and design. The platform offers a catalogue of training videos and expert talks in Arabic and English, according to their press release.
This Kuwaiti startup allows users to upload a file on the platform and request an Arabic translation. Content gets reviewed, then written in the target language before sending it back to the client.
This online platform teaches robotics, electronics, coding, and building a circuit. It is still in its beta testing phase and is one of MITEF Pan Arab Competition semi-finalists.
