Improving Access to Finance for Small Businesses in Tunisia

Last week, a conference was held in Tunis to discuss improving access to venture capital funding for small and medium enterprises in Tunisia, which now comprise 95% of the country's businesses, according to Moez Dalloua of Financial Services Volunteer Corps (FSVC). The event, organized by FSVC, the Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI), and Carthage Business Angels, and co-hosted by new incubator Wiki Startup and the Mediterranean School of Business, brought entrepreneurs together to discuss how to scale to larger markets and attract foreign investment.
