Launched to empower young Syrian entrepreneurs, the Jusoor Entrepreneurship Competition provides monetary awards and entrepreneurial training through bootcamps. Applications for the second edition of the competition are open until February the 1st.
The contest, which calls for startups to participate in the Startup and Social Tracks, is comprised of three phases. The first phase shortlists all 20 applicants who will continue to the second phase, and join the Jusoor Entrepreneurship Bootcamp on February 20 for 15 days. In the final phase, teams will present their projects in front of a panel of judges who will select two winners to join each of the Startup Track and Social Track. All four winners will receive financial rewards.
All four winners of the competition will be eligible to join MIT Arab Startup Competition in 2016, as well as receive monetary rewards.
Note: The business should be implemented in one of the following countries: Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, Turkey, Iraq, Egypt, and GCC.
