Egypt's pet-care startup, VetCode, raises seed funding at $450,000 pre-money valuation from Pmaestro on Friday, December 21^st. VetCode is a Cairo-based smart interactive platform to help pet guardians reach their needs at a tap of a screen.

This comes four months after launch, with 50 percent month-over-month growth. The Egyptian pet-care startup will use the seed funding round to expand within the market with scalable operations. 

VetCode is one stop shop for veterinary care and social care services for pets. It's an online platform, mainly presented through a mobile app that somewhat acts like a social network for pet guardians and vets. It has many categories and services such as adopting, mating, healthcare, and training.
