Tachyon raises $1.6 million pre-Seed round
  • Saudi Arabia-based B2B logistics platform Tachyon, has raised a $1.6 million pre-Seed round from undisclosed investors.
  • Founded in 2021 by Abdulrahman Ijaabo, Nidal Alattas, Maysarah Michaal and Hamzah Abu Sitta, Tachyon allows users to manage their internal or external transport and logistics operations.
  • Tachyon plans to use the new proceedings to expand across Saudi Arabia and other countries in the Mena region.

Tachyon, a cloud-based logistics platform that gives users the ability to manage their transport and logistics operations, has raised a total of $1.6 pre-Seed round.

“Our latest investment round is to cement our platform benefits by improving modules and features, in addition to further expanding in the Kingdom,” said Abdulrahman Ijaabo, CEO of Tachyon. 

Tachyon is a cloud-based logistics platform that gives users the ability to manage their internal or external transport and logistics operations. Users can take advantage of their entire digital solution to improve their services, save costs, and save time. Also, it is the first logistics platform that is integrated with the Bayan platform of the Saudi Public Transport Authority (PTA). 

Working towards that vision, Tachyon has seen exponential success and hyper growth in nine months since the launch, reaching +50 per cent growth MoM, registering more than 90 transporters with a capacity of +8,000 trucks, demonstrating a solid understanding of the market and extensive expertise and capabilities in the logistic sector. 

The technology behind Tachyon is built to create a seamless experience for the shippers, carriers, or brokers to benefit from process improvement and significantly cut down on time and operating costs. 

Over the upcoming months, Tachyon's goal is still to provide customers with premium services and bring positive changes to the logistics industry. Covering all of Saudi Arabia and expanding regionally to the Mena region and GCC countries.
