Harvard Arab Weekend & Startup Pitch contest 2013

On November 7-10, the 7th Harvard Arab Weekend (HAW) is bringing Arab leaders from around the world together to discuss the future of the region.

The Harvard Arab Weekend is an annual conference held at Harvard University, organized by the Harvard Arab Alumni Association in collaboration with several affiliated campus groups.

This year, Harvard Arab Weekend is hosting the second annual Harvard Arab Startup Pitch contest, offering Arab entrepreneurs in the diaspora the chance to present a short pitch and receive feedback from high-profile figures including venture capitalists, angel investors, prominent entrepreneurs and industry experts.

Those who make it to the final round will fly to Boston to give a live pitch to compete for the cash prize of $30,000 and continued mentorship and exposure. The deadline for submissions is October 9, 2013. Mercy Corps Egypt will cover logistics expenses for up to three finalist teams from Egypt.
