Sanar raises Seed funding from Impact46

Saudi Arabia-based healthtech app Sanar, has raised an undisclosed Seed round led by Impact46.

Launched in 2019, the online healthcare platform provides users with multiple telemedicine and at-home services ranging from video/chat specialised clinic consultation to online physiotherapy sessions with the help of more than 450 Saudi doctors and consultants.

“Sanar the platform aims to establish a virtual hospital that provides integrated medical services that cross the boundaries of distances, indicating that the idea of ​​the application came to achieve the vision of creating a health tech system for medical care that serves the individuals easily,” said the co-founder of Sanar, Faisal Alhomaidhi.

Sanar has helped to provide healthcare services on a large scale to cover major cities and small towns across the kingdom, with the aim to onboard major insurance companies to develop its services and provide public access to basic medical care at their convenience, according to Alhomaidhi.
