Oman-based corporate travel platform Darrbak has announced the successful closure of its pre-seed funding round, led by the “Future Fund” under the Oman Investment Authority (OIA), with the deal value remaining undisclosed.

This marks a strategic milestone to support the platform’s growth in the institutional travel sector.

Darrbak is a tech-driven platform focused on managing corporate and government travel needs. It offers integrated solutions such as hotel bookings, flight reservations, and additional travel-related services.

The platform was founded by Omani entrepreneur Jassim Al Alawi in 2025 and is a corporate-focused extension of Darrbak, the tourism brand under Darrbak Oman Tourism Services, known for providing personalised adventure and leisure travel experiences to individual customers.

Darrbak’s offerings include a broad range of sea, mountain, and desert experiences across Oman, with the ability to book up to 6 months in advance. Users can customise their trips and book flights and hotels, all through a secure online payment system.

For experience providers, Darrbak offers a smart payment gateway and improved communication channels to help ensure upfront payments and streamlined service delivery.

With this funding, Darrbak aims to strengthen its digital infrastructure and expand its corporate client base across Oman and the region while maintaining its commitment to simplicity, safety, and innovation.
