Press release:

Syrian home maintenance startup Salehli (صلّحلي) has secured a $100,000 investment from EBLA Ventures, as it prepares to expand its digital marketplace for maintenance and renovation services into new cities across Syria.

The investment marks EBLA Ventures' fourth transaction in 2026. The funding stage and any participation by other investors were not disclosed.

Salehli operates a digital platform connecting households and other customers with maintenance and renovation professionals. Through the platform, customers can submit service requests and receive quotations from professionals who have undergone prior verification, while an on-site team oversees service quality.

The startup aims to bring greater transparency to a market where customers often rely on personal recommendations and informal pricing arrangements to find maintenance providers.

According to EBLA Ventures, Salehli has attracted more than 15,000 users and 3,500 service professionals in less than a year. The platform has processed over 10,000 service requests, with repeat customers accounting for nearly half of its customer base.

The investment follows a relationship established through the Thimar programme, which supports Syrian startups in developing their businesses and preparing for investment.

After the programme, Salehli's founders continued working with EBLA Ventures to strengthen the company's operations and track its performance, leading to the investment agreement.

The new capital will support the introduction of digital payment services, the development of offerings for businesses and institutions, and expansion into additional cities across Syria.

EBLA Ventures said the investment reflects its focus on companies addressing everyday consumer needs, particularly as demand for maintenance, renovation and related services develops in Syria.
