Press release:
theQA, Kuwait’s first AI-powered consumer research platform, has raised over US$550,000 in a pre-seed round backed by a Kuwaiti family office and strategic angel investors. The funding will support scaling the platform in Kuwait.
theQA enables businesses, agencies, and researchers to create surveys, target relevant audiences in Kuwait, and collect consumer feedback to inform their decisions. Its AI-assisted survey builder and workflows help turn research briefs into questionnaires, supporting studies on consumer preferences, brand perceptions, and new product concepts.
Launched in April 2025, theQA has grown to over 20,000 verified panel members. Revenue has grown every quarter this year, almost doubling since January.
Commenting on the investment, Ahmad Al-Ebrahim, Co-Founder and CEO of theQA, said:
“We started theQA with a simple goal: to make it easier for businesses to understand the people they serve. Consumer research has traditionally required significant time, effort, and resources, and we saw an opportunity to make that process simpler and more accessible.
Reaching over 20,000 participants in a short period has reinforced our belief in the need for this platform. This investment will help us build on that progress, strengthen our capabilities, and make consumer insights more accessible to businesses across Kuwait.”
Hussain Al-Nashabah, Co-Founder and CTO of theQA, added:
“Our focus has always been on simplifying the research process, from asking the right questions to reaching the right people and understanding the results. We’re continuing to develop tools that reduce the time and effort required to conduct research, including the practical use of AI where it adds value.
This investment will allow us to improve the platform, introduce new capabilities, and help businesses turn consumer feedback into actionable decisions.”
Ahmad Al Ebrahim and Hussain Ali AlNashaba are co-founders of theQA.
