What is good for the environment is good for society and can be good for business. Are you interested in advancing this triple bottom line of sustainability?
AMWAJ 2016 (“waves” in Arabic), an international sustainability forum organized by Revolve in partnership with PepsiCo, will take place on November 28-29, in Amman, Jordan.
The forum will bring together young professional journalists and entrepreneurs from the countries of the Union for the Mediterranean (EU members + 15 Middle East and North African countries) to share and explore innovative projects in the water, energy and technology sectors. Its ultimate goal is to create an environmentally aware community based on the sharing of natural resources like water and energy, for a more sustainable future.
The AMWAJ 2016’s organizers will select 2 participants per country from a minimum of 25 countries from around the Mediterranean and Middle East regions to participate in the training workshops and the field visits of the forum, which include a site visit to As-Samra wastewater treatment plant and ‘PepsiCo Positive Water Balance’ initiative (the organizers will cover travel and accommodation expenses).
In association with Wamda, PepsiCo is powering a special award for social entrepreneurship around the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. Identifying the new innovative technologies that are making the region more sustainable, the award will be presented at an official ceremony at the end of Day 2 of the AMWAJ forum.

- Be interested in or already involved in working on sustainability issues related to water, energy, and environmental responsibility
