Egypt's makers mark out industry roadblocks [WamdaTV]

 

Egypt's tech startup sector includes a surprisingly large number of 'makers': entrepreneurs such as Integreight CEO Amr Saleh or Fab Lab Egypt cofounder Mahmoud El-safty who build or promote the development of tangible, technology-enabled products.

But those makers also face challenges which app and software developers don't. During the Middle East's inaugural Mini Maker Faire in Cairo, Wamda asked four entrepreneurs about the biggest stumbling blocks ahead for their own business and the wider sector, and their tactics for getting around them.
