Launched at Arabnet’s Digital Summit in June 2014, the Dubai-based app now apparently boasts 35,000 users and clients including Mars, Unilever, IKEA and Estée Lauder.
Users of the app can pick a ‘mission’ while out and about in the UAE and conduct market research, while getting paid via a Paypal account. The app effectively crowd sources to conduct market research.
The fields in which the research can be conducted range from sharwarma tasting to asking questions at a car dealership.
According to cofounder and CEO Karim Aly the new funding will allow them to expand in the region, (they are currently only available in UAE), first to Saudi Arabia and Egypt before 2015 is over.
