As we count down to our second Mix N’ Mentor of the year, this time in Jordan’s Amman, we’re really excited to share the mentors that will be joining us, all at the ready with their words of wisdom for local entrepreneurs.
We’ve got Narain Jashanmal, head of DR Advertising MENA at Facebook, who will be hosting a Facebook advertising workshop, and the thrice-titled Mohamed Hantirah, Program Manager, Developer Relations, and MENAT Regional Lead at Google, who will be leading the ‘Google Launch Pad’ workshop.
With more than 16 mentors coming along we have Samih Toukan, Jabbar Group’s founder and Chairman; Silicon Badia’s Emile Cubeisy; Mouayed Makhlouf, MENA Director at the International Finance Corporation (IFC).
Marwan Juma, founder of dot.jo; and Ziad Khammar, Strategy and Development Director at Digital Media Services (DMS) will join us along with PayFort’s Managing Director Omar Soudodi and Ahmad Hanandeh, the CEO of our partners Zain Jordan.
Beirut and Amman’s Uber General Manager Sebastien Wakim will be there as well, and Amir Farha, Managing Partner at BECO Capital, will return once again to listen, ask questions and share his valuable insights.
Partnering with Zain and Aramex; we’ve got our roadshow partners PayFort joining us; with Oasis500 as our community partner, and the folks at Eventtus will bring everyone closer together with their scheduling and social networking services.
In Amman last year, entrepreneurs listening with intent.
We look forward to reuniting with our extended Wamda family once again. Chairman Fadi Ghandour; Lana Alamat, partner and general counsel at Wamda Capital, and Walid Faza, investment principal at Wamda Capital, will be with us in Amman, and we could not be more excited.
Some familiar faces will include Abed Agha from Beirut’s Vinelab; RiseUP Summit’s Con O'Donnell, plus Jonathan Labin, head of Middle East and Africa at Facebook, and Karim Samakie, Investment Manager at Oasis500.
We’ve even got some great examples of entrepreneurial butterflies with Zeid Husban from Jordan’s ifood.jo; CashBasha’s Fouad Jeryes, Media Plus’ Zaidoun Karadesh, Yaqut's Ammar Mardawi and Watheq Safarini, MD of Clickology.
The most exciting part of this Mix N’ Mentor is of course the all-new ‘Marketplace’ feature of the day. We’ll be introducing corporates to entrepreneurs that will be able to aid them in their business development challenges. Zain Jordan, Aramex, Choueiri Group, and PayFort, will be there to hear pitches from entrepreneurs eager to become involved with them.
And with Uber on board we’re going to be recreating the fun we had with them at Mix N’ Mentor Beirut, and invite entrepreneurs to take a little ride with mentors for some one-on-one feedback.
We’d love to see you there, so, to apply click here.
