• Egypt-born and Saudi Arabia-HQ social e-commerce platform Taager has launched operations in Casablanca, marking its official entry into Morocco and its first North African expansion.
• Founded in 2019 by Abdelrahman Sherief, Ahmed Ismail, Ismail Omar and Mohammed Elhorishy, Taager’s platform enables anyone to start and scale their own social e-commerce business by providing products, storage, shipping, and customer collection.

Taager, the Egyptian social e-commerce platform, has officially expanded into Morocco, opening operations in Casablanca as part of its wider regional growth across MENA. This move marks Taager’s first entry into North Africa after establishing its presence in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.

The expansion targets Morocco’s fast-developing e-commerce sector, where Taager aims to make online selling more accessible to young, digital-first entrepreneurs.

Founded in 2019, Taager offers an end-to-end platform that allows individuals to start selling online without carrying inventory or paying any upfront costs. The company manages sourcing, logistics, delivery, and payments, giving sellers a simple and reliable pathway into e-commerce.

Taager’s Moroccan operations will be led by Salma Ammor, who brings experience in scaling digital ventures. She aims to focus on providing Morocco’s youth with the tools they need to accelerate their businesses.

Taager’s entry into Morocco reflects the rising regional demand for low-barrier e-commerce tools. With a young population and increasing digital adoption, Morocco represents a high-potential growth market for the company’s MENA expansion strategy.
