Riyadh is Mix N’ Mentor’s first stop this year

The Saudi ecosystem is getting more and more exciting, and Wamda is on trend: we host the first Mix N’ Mentor of the year on April 22 at King Saud University in Riyadh.

The Saudi ecosystem is full of governmental initiatives aiming to support startups, in addition to many promising events from universities and organizations.

The past few months have seen the emergence of programs such as Nomu – The Parallel Market and Musharaka and Deal Directory, in addition to entrepreneurship events for students such as the Effat University bootcamp for women, and mentorship programs such as the Endeavor Fast Forward program and others.

"Mix N’ Mentor Riyadh, organized by Wamda in partnership with KSU's King Salman Institute for Entrepreneurship, will gather entrepreneurs in a fun and casual environment away from conferences and formal events

During this one day event participants will meet investors, mentors and other entrepreneurs to discuss the challenges of starting and developing their businesses.

The event will feature workshops and panels, where entrepreneurs and experienced mentors discuss a certain topic. These include team building, business development and fundraising, while talking about challenges, potentials and opportunities.

One on one mentorship sessions will allow entrepreneurs to meet experienced mentors.

Mix N’ Mentor Riyadh will include mentors from successful startups and large corporations, such as Fadi Ghandour, CEO of the Wamda Group, Maha Taibah from Eradah, Walid Al Banawi, founder and chairman of JISR Venture Partners, Nour Alhassan, CEO of Tarjama, Will Hutson from LMTD, and Khaled Talhouni, Fares Ghandour and Walid Faza from Wamda Capital.

At the end of the day, entrepreneurs will gather in a fireside chat where they discuss the insights they received throughout the day.
