What Women Want at Work [Infographic]

Starting next Saturday in Cairo, Wamda For Women Entrepreneurs is launching a roundtable series, to refocus the discussion of what success means to female founders. Click here to learn more and register.

We'll be discussing several items, including this new infographic, which reveals the attitudes of women around the globe when it comes to the workplace, as compared to their attitudes 5-10 years ago.

Titled "What Women Want @ Work" (a bit cutesy), the graphic was created from a LinkedIn global study that surveyed 5,300 working women between the ages of 18 and 65 in 13 countries. • Now, 63% of women say that success means finding a balance between their personal and professional lives, whereas in the not-too-distant past, the majority- 57%- said that success meant earning a high salary.

  • Interestingly, women in emerging markets like India and Brazil seem happier with their careers.

  • 74% say we can have it all- relationships, career, and children, while 57% say they don't plan to slow down their career once having children.

  • 65% of us would like a more flexible work environment to be able to handle multiple duties.

This year, we will be bringing this conversation to cities around the Arab world, h
